If you have a weight problem, you may have inherited your weight issues from one or both of your parents. Although this may be true on some levels, the real question is; is fat in your genes or is it in your environment.
If so, there is a much higher mahmud of someone being fat than someone that has lean relatives. Figure out what you would like your parents or other family members to do and let them know. Do you want them to cook differently.
If you live with your family and would like to start to lose weight, why not make it a family effort. Do you need someone in your house that loves junk food to stop leaving it all over the house where you have easy access to it.
True, coming from a fat family does make it harder to lose weight, but it is not impossible. Although your family may be bigger, this doesn't mean that you are doomed to that fate. All you really need to do is come up with all the ways your family assist you in sabotaging yourself. All you need to do is enlist their help and support and do it as a team. |
